The name
In Tok Pisin, nambis means the beach, the coast — the edge where land meets sea. It is the word Madang people use for the place that shapes their daily life, and it is the name this hotel carries.
The place
Madang is a coastal province on Astrolabe Bay, known for its harbour, its reefs and the diversity of its people. Nambis Inn was built here in 2018, designed for the climate and for the way guests actually travel through the province.
